Hisense is delighted to introduce Barry Du Bois as their new brand ambassador and presenter of Smarter Living – a new content series from Hisense focused on sustainability, home improvement, food, lifestyle, and much more.
While Barry might be familiar to many as one of the presenters of the popular Network 10 TV show, The Living Room, Barry has over 30 years’ industry experience in building and design.
These days, however, Barry spends less time on the building site and more time on TV screens as part of the presenting team on The Living Room where he lends his expertise to people in need.
Barry is also an ambassador and board member for R U OK? Day, as well as a proud supporter of the Cancer Council and an advocate for environmental sustainability.
When speaking at the launch of Smarter Living, Managing Director at Hisense Australia, Finn Zhang, remarked how Aussies have been more focused on home renovations than ever before in the pandemic years. Zhang went on to express his excitement at joining Barry Du Bois and “inspiring Australians through their home improvement journey and providing practical tips on how to live smarter”.

With the help of the Smarter Living Series and superb content expertly delivered by Barry, we hope to inspire people to begin their own journey towards a smarter, more sustainable way of life. Commenting on his new ambassadorship, Barry expressed excitement at “advising Aussies on appliances that will not only enhance their homes but lessen their impact on the environment.”
