A helping hand for the Peninsula Senior Citizen’s Toy Recyclers

Peninsula Senior Citizen’s Toy Recyclers are a non-for-profit organisation that started in 1975 in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. From day one, their mission has been to repair toys and give them a new lease of life before donating them to disadvantaged kids and children in need.

The organisation has grown to become a vital part of the community and provides an essential social outlet for an ageing population, bringing people together and teaching them new skills that benefit the wider community. Their work ensures that broken or unwanted toys are kept out of landfill and are instead repaired and recycled to meet a strict quality criteria.

Hisense were delighted to be able to contribute to the wonderful work of this organisation through the donation of a PureStream Washer (Model No. HWGA9014) and Heat Pump Dryer (Model No. HDGA90H) that will help Peninsula Senior Citizen’s Toy Recyclers continue their great work in the community supporting children and families in need. Zhooshing it up for Josh

While there’s nothing quite like heartbreak, there’s no better medicine to fix it than a complete refresh. At just 27, diesel mechanic Josh was engaged to be married, but tragically, one month before the wedding, he went through a breakup that saw his life come apart.

After a couple of years in the weeds, Josh knew it was time to pick himself up, dust himself off, and get back to living his best life. A self-described ‘scrimper n saver’, Josh has always been a hard working kind of guy and was lucky enough to buy his own home. But because of everything that happened in the past couple of years, he’s in need of a helping hand, which is where The Living Room comes in.

Kitchens can be a minefield at the best of times, but for Josh who’s keen to get cooking, his kitchen is far from functional. Luckily, Barry is on hand to perform an impressive renovation, complete with all new appliances, including a Hisense PureFlat French Door Fridge (Model no. HRFD560BW), and a stylish bar so he can have his mates around.

Even a seasoned kitchen renovator like Barry was impressed by the Hisense PureFlat French Door Fridge, praising its double door capacity and declaring it “the icing on the cake” of the whole kitchen reno project.

Good appliances make life easier and more enjoyable. If you’re transforming a space or looking for the latest technology to improve your home, explore the Hisense range now.
