Hisense Australia will launch more ConnectLife-enabled home appliances in Australia in 2024 following demonstrations of leading innovations spanning kitchen, living areas and home ecosystem at CES 2024®. Hisense also demonstrated how ConnectLife will integrate with its newly announced 2024 TV and Laser range through its proprietary operating system, VIDAA, enabling smart home control on-screen and within the ConnectLife App for compatible home entertainment and home appliance products.
ConnectLife, Hisense’s smart home app, makes it easier to manage and monitor Hisense’s compatible smart home appliances anytime, and from anywhere, in the palm of your hand. Available on Apple iOS and Android smartphones, ConnectLife makes it simpler to control home appliances while keeping tabs on home energy and water usage.

ConnectLife launching on 2024 Hisense TV range
For the first time in Australia, ConnectLife will be available through Hisense’s proprietary operating system, VIDAA, bringing a new level of integration across the 2024 Hisense TV range. Looking towards the future, the Hisense TV range will be able to manage the entire home ecosystem, delivering convenience through an all-encompassing smart home experience.
Expanded Range of ConnectLife-enabled appliances coming to Australia
With smart home connectivity being a key focus at CES 2024®, Hisense demonstrated its expanded range of ConnectLife-enabled products which will become available in Australia. The expanded range will include an enhanced line up of refrigerators, dishwashers, and laundry appliances. More detail on models and pricing will be shared in mid-2024.
The ConnectLife platform continues to evolve, boasting new features including improved energy and water management tools, as well as a simpler and more aesthetic interface, further streamlining the user experience for customers.
Seamless experience matters to Hisense
As smart home uptake in Australia continues to mature, Hisense has reinforced its commitment to the Matter platform through demonstrations of Matter-certified devices. Matter-certified devices will be coming to Australia in the future.
Cooking into the future
At CES 2024®, Hisense demonstrated the future of cooking and whole home automation with the new ProChef@Home experience. Improving the way customers approach meal preparation, the new experience promises to deliver convenience and precision, for an end-to-end integrated living experience.
While purely a concept at this stage, the newly imagined software platform will see customers turn their favourite TV content into cooking inspiration. Hisense demonstrated how users can view cooking content from their VIDAA-powered Smart TV, save favourite recipes, and access them from their Hisense connected appliances and smart home devices.
Taking this a step further, Hisense envisions a connected kitchen that utilises AI in a myriad of ways – from adjusting recipes for specific dietaries or preferences through to creating entirely new recipes, with the option of selecting a fusion cuisine. For ultimate convenience, ConnectLife-enabled fridges can check inventory and seamlessly place orders should an ingredient be missing. Beyond these functions, the platform can start appliances remotely, deliver step by step recipe guidance, and send push notifications to the TV as customers await a perfectly cooked meal.
