SYDNEY, 11 January 2021 – Hisense Australia today announces it will introduce its new Hisense ULED Mini LED TV technology in 2021, to be available in both 8K and 4K resolution. An innovative offering, Hisense’s ULED Mini LED TVs deliver superior picture quality with stunning brightness colour contrast.

With its extremely tight array of tiny, direct-lit LEDs that can be switched off to display deeper blacks, the precision of ULED Mini LED TV is impeccable and results in a realistic, true-to-life image that is further enhanced by Quantum Dot Colour technology.

The first of Hisense’s new ULED Mini LED TVs will be a 75-inch 8K model, followed by a 4K model that will be available in both 65 and 75-inches. Offering unparalleled picture quality, the ULED Mini LED 8K Tv leverages sophisticated 8K upscaling technology powered by Artificial Intelligence and Hisense’s proprietary Hi-View Engine Pro.

Setting a new benchmark in brightness and picture quality, both Hisense ULED Mini LED TVs will be IMAX Enhanced, offer HDR 10+ and will be equipped with Dolby Vision™ HDR, in addition to being 8K Ultra HD and 4K HDR Ultra HD Certified.

Adding to the crisp image delivered by the TVs is crystal-clear sound that is supported by Dolby Atmos® Audio and eARC. The premium sound and image components work together to deliver Australians vibrant, cinema-style viewing without setting foot out of the home.

Gamers will revel in the fact that both TVs feature Game Mode Pro, including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), HDMI 2.1 and AMD FreeSync™ technologies.

The ULED 8K Mini LED TV and the ULED 4K Mini LED TV boast substance and style, featuring a minimalist, low profile stand with ultra-thin bezels. In fact, the TVs are easy on the eyes in more ways than one with the additional benefit of TUV Care+ low blue light certification.

Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia, Andre Iannuzzi, said: “Following extensive testing and refinement, we are pleased to introduce our Mini LED TVs which will complete our 2021 ULED TV range. In particular, the exceptional ULED 8K Mini LED TV represents the epitome of our local foray into 8K and is set to be one of the best televisions in its category.

“As with all of our TVs, our ULED Mini LED TVs aim to exceed customer expectations. From their ability to upscale lower resolution content to create a pristine and precise picture quality through to their intuitive smarts, these are – in every sense – ultra-premium TVs. We are excited to be introducing ULED Mini LED TV technology to Australians and are confident it will resonate well in market,” he added.
