HISENSE X FIFA SOCIAL CAMPAIGN” PROMOTION

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.

  1. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

  1. Entries into the promotion open at 9:00am AEDT on 16/03/26 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 30/04/26 (“Promotional Period”).

  1. At the commencement of the promotion, the Promoter will post a promotional post (“Promotional Post”) to both their Australian and New Zealand Instagram accounts (https://www.instagram.com/hisenseau/ and https://www.instagram.com/hisensenz/?hl=en) and their Australian RedNote account (https://xhslink.com/m/AUV9HxQxUnl).

  1. To enter via Instagram, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:

  1. visit the Australian Hisense Instagram page (if the entrant is an Australian resident) or the New Zealand Hisense Instagram Page (if the entrant is a New Zealand resident) and follow the relevant Instagram page;
  2. locate and like the Promotional Post; and then
  3. post a direct comment on the Promotional Post, tagging a friend that they would like to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup with.

  1. To enter via RedNote (if the entrant is an Australian resident), individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:

  1. visit and follow the Australian RedNote page;
  2. locate and like the Promotional Post; and then
  3. post a direct comment on the Promotional Post, tagging a friend that they would like to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup with.

  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

  1. Incomplete, indecipherable or unviewable entries will be deemed invalid.

  1. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry is permitted per Instagram or RedNote comment (for Australian residents); (b) each Instagram or RedNote comment (for Australian residents) must tag a different friend; and (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements. 

  1. Only one (1) prize is permitted per person (excluding SA residents).

  1. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

  1. Australian entries will be divided into two (2) groups according to the social media platform used to enter, being either Instagram or RedNote.

  1. There will be one (1) draw conducted for all New Zealand entries, one (1) draw conducted for all Australian Instagram entries and one (1) draw for all Australian RedNote entries. The draws will take place at Level 3/162 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 on 04/05/26 at 10:00am AEST, in the presence of an independent scrutineer. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winners will be notified by Instagram or RedNote direct message (depending on the social media platform they used to enter) within seven (7) days of the draws and their details will be published (first initial, surname and postcode) on the Promoter’s Instagram and RedNote pages on 08/05/26.

  1. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  1. The first valid Australian RedNote entry drawn will win a Hisense room set-up, up to the maximum value of AU$10,000. The AU$10,000 budget can be used towards any of the Hisense products on the Australian Hisense website at https://hisense.com.au.

  1. The first three (3) valid Australian Instagram entries drawn will each win a Hisense room set-up, up to the maximum value of AU$10,000. The AU$10,000 budget can be used towards any of the Hisense products on the Australian Hisense website at https://hisense.com.au.

  1. The first two (2) valid New Zealand Instagram entries drawn will each win a Hisense room set-up, up to the maximum value of NZ$10,000. The NZ$10,000 budget can be used towards any of the Hisense products listed on the New Zealand Hisense website at https://hisense.co.nz/.

  1. At the time of notification via Instagram or RedNote (depending on the social media platform used to enter), winners will be required to advise the Promoter of their email address and then via email the Promoter will request the winners to choose their Hisense product/s up to the maximum value of $10,000. The original winners must inform the Promoter of their chosen Hisense product/s by 11:59pm AEST on 02/06/26 and the unclaimed prize draw winners (if any) must inform the Promoter of their chosen Hisense product/s by 11:59pm AEST on 02/07/26. If a winner does not use all of the $10,000 budget, the remaining value of the budget will be forfeited. The Promoter will organise the delivery of all chosen Hisense product/s to the winner. If the value of any Hisense product exceeds the budget of $10,000, the winner will be responsible for any additional costs associated with purchasing the chosen Hisense product/s. For the avoidance of doubt, installation of any Hisense product/s (if required) is not included in the prize. All Hisense products are subject to availability.

  1. Winners are responsible for ensuring that all prize delivery details provided are correct. The Promoter will not be liable for any costs associated with re-delivery of a prize, should the delivery details provided by a winner be incorrect.

  1. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.

  1. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

  1. Total prize pool value in Australia is $40,000 and the total prize pool value in New Zealand is $20,000.

  1. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

  1. The prizes must be claimed by 11:59pm AEST on 02/06/26 (for the original winners) and by 11:59pm AEST on 02/07/26 (for the winners of the unclaimed prize draw, if any).

  1. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 03/06/26 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winners, if any, will be notified by Instagram or RedNote direct message (depending on the social media platform they used to enter) within seven (7) days of the draw and their details will be published (first initial, surname and postcode) on the Promoter’s Instagram or RedNote page on 10/06/26.

  1. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, government lockdown, pandemic or any other kind of disaster or unforeseeable event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

  1. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

  1. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

  1. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia or any statutory consumer guarantees as provided under consumer protection laws in New Zealand (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

  1. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) taking of a prize.

  1. The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian or New Zealand regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The entrants consent to the Promoter using their PI for these purposes or any other purposes set out in its Privacy Policy. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://hisense.com.au/PrivacyPolicy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles, New Zealand Information Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose PI to any entity outside of Australia or New Zealand.

  1. Entry and continued participation in the promotion is dependent on entrants following and acting in accordance with the Instagram Rules, which can be found at http://instagram.com/about/legal/terms and the RedNote Rules available at https://agree.xiaohongshu.com/h5/terms/ZXXY20250119002/-1.

  1. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or RedNote. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Instagram or RedNote. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Instagram or RedNote. Instagram and RedNote will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained by an entrant, as a result of participating in the promotion (including taking/use of the prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
