Good news alert! Google and Alexa voice assistants are now available across select 2019 Series R Hisense TVs.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, or on a digital detox for the last few years, you’ll most likely have heard of voice assistant technology.
If you haven’t heard about it, let us quickly fill you in.
Voice assistant technology is a software that can perform tasks based on commands or questions given by users. From searching for specific TV shows on a streaming service to playing a song on Spotify, voice assistant technology makes life super convenient and seamless, doing away with the need for devices and remote controls.
If you own an R5, R6, R7, or R8 model, you’ll now be able to talk to your TV and use voice control for features such as turning the TV on and off, changing inputs and controlling volume.
Alexa and Google Voice Assistant enable users to seamlessly connect to music platforms and streaming services, which means you’re never more than a couple of words away from being entertained.
Hisense has also recently updated the RemoteNow app to support voice input for both android and iOS mobile devices, which means you’ve got even more ways to take control.
