Hisense 4K UHD TVs at IFA: Celebrating the FIFA World Cup 2018

Earlier this year, we announced that Hisense would be an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2018™ in Russia. But now, football fever has taken over the Hisense booth at this year’s IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin.

Visitors can look forward to a variety of FIFA-themed specials plus a line-up of the latest, high-end Hisense TVs.

We recently released the incredible Series 7, Series 8 and Series 9 ULED displays here in Australia and these models will be a focal point of the Hisense booth at IFA. The 4K UHD TVs create a fully-immersive viewing experience and will take watching the World Game at home to a whole new level. Seeing Ronaldo, Messi (and hopefully Cahill) will become larger than life!

To bring the stars of the tournament right into your living room, Hisense uses three bespoke technologies, Ultra Contrast, Ultra Colour and Ultra Motion to produce outstanding picture quality.

  • Ultra Contrast is generated using local dimming in multiple zones – providing darker darks and brighter brights.
  • Ultra Colour is achieved by combining Quantum Dot and HDR Supreme technology which gives a more-natural viewing experience.
  • Ultra Motion sees Hisense TVs adopt motion estimation and motion compensation technologies in order to give a new level of clarity when the action shifts gear.

Fans who own our 2017 models will also be able to access enhanced World Cup-related features thanks to the all-new and innovative user interface, VIDAA U. The fully-customisable Smart TV features will let viewers re-watch their favourite World Cup moments on YouTube or other streaming services while the live TV experience is just a click away.

VIDAA U is super quick and that makes it easy to switch between apps and channels while the game is on – minimising the risk of missing a game-winning goal.

Visitors to IFA Berlin will also get a sneak peek at a newly-developed Hisense Laser TV. This monster boasts a whopping 100’’ screen, a built-in subwoofer and is one of the outstanding products of IFA 2017. Its brightness rating of more than 2,500 nits means it can even be operated outside in broad daylight!

Whichever Hisense TV is used, we’re confident that viewers around the world will enjoy the world’s favourite sport with incredible picture clarity and world-class display technology next year when the World Cup kick’s off.
