Hisense Announces new 2020 Smart TV Range

Technology really is the gift that keeps on giving. Every year we see new innovations that well and truly change the game. And with CES 2020 currently taking place in Las Vegas, there’s never been a better time to talk tech.

For the team here at Hisense, 2020 will see us unveil our most impressive range of TVs to date. We’ve been making screens much bigger and using game-changing technology to push the boundaries and deliver truly outstanding picture quality across the entire range. It’s something we’re very proud of.
Included within the 2020 range are the Series 9 ULED 8K TV and Series 8 ULED 4K Quantum Dot TV, both of which feature all the latest tech and amazing picture quality. We’re also launching a UHD model in a variety of sizes, right up a whopping 100-inch screen, ideal for those seeking a home cinema experience.

The star of the range

There’s so much to look forward to in the new range. But there’s also one TV that we’re particularly excited about – the star of the range – the Hisense Series X ULED XD. With revolutionary Dual Cell™ Technology, it’s our flagship TV for 2020.
Unlike traditional LED TVs, the patented Dual Cell™ screen features two precision-bonded LCD panels that control brightness more precisely than ever before, making blacks appear darker and colours more vivid.
The first screen operates a greyscale layer that controls luminance, while the second layer controls colour. Supported by the greyscale layer sits behind the colour layer and effectively blocks light from pixels that need to be darker, creating more than 2 million dimming zones.
It’s a highly innovative piece of design that’s built to last long and offer customers an excellent and equally brilliant alternative to OLED TVs. With an incredibly impressive display, it sets a new standard for LED TVs, unparalleled in the market.

Premium tech features and a new and improved operating system

Dolby Vision™ HDR and Quantum Dot also feature in selected TVs across the range, offering Australians a crisp, clear and true-to-life viewing experience. There’s also a new and improved version of the Hisense VIDAA operating system.
VIDAA 4.0 offers increased AI functionality that allows you to enjoy easier navigation via built-in Amazon Alexa. Now you can search and even switch between apps without a remote control. Entertainment apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Stan, Amazon Prime Video and Freeview Plus are also available through VIDAA 4.0.

Getting bigger and better

In recent years, demand for larger TV screens has been growing steadily, with more and more Australians looking for a home cinema experience. The Hisense 2020 range will see some super big screens hit the market, capable of transforming any living space into a home cinema.
Along with the existing premium 4K Dual Colour Laser TV, the new Hisense TV range will see another giant screen hitting the market with the launch of the mammoth 98-inch UHD TV.
If 2020 is the year you’re looking for superb picture quality on screens that are larger than life, look no further than the new Hisense TV range.
