Hisense Australia Order Policy

1. Introduction

This Order Policy ("Policy") governs the sale of Hisense Australia Pty Ltd ("Hisense," "we," "our," or "us") products ("Products") to customers ("you" or "your") through the Hisense Online Store ("Website") in Australia. By placing an order for Products through the Website, you agree to be bound by this Policy. This Policy is intended to comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and other applicable Australian laws.

2. User Accounts

  • When you create a Hisense Member account on the Website, you must provide accurate and complete information.
  • You agree not to:
    • select, register, or attempt to register, or use the name or any other identifiable information of another person with the intent of impersonating that person.
    • use the name of anyone else without authorization.
    • use a name in violation of the intellectual property rights of any person.
    • use a name that we consider offensive.

We reserve the right to reject or terminate the account of any person that does not comply with these Terms.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Hisense Member account and must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Ordering Products

  • Orders are placed through the Website's online checkout process.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
  • Carefully review your order, including pricing and product information, before completing the checkout process. It is your responsibility to check the order before you complete the online checkout process. Prices and charges are subject to change without notice.
  • You will receive an Order Confirmation email with an order reference number. Please keep your order reference number safely.

4. Order Acceptance and Processing

  • Your order constitutes an offer to purchase Products.
  • Order Confirmation does not guarantee acceptance but is acknowledgment that we have received your order.
  • Hisense reserves the right to reject or cancel orders for various reasons, including product availability, payment validation, suspected fraud, or errors in pricing or product information.
  • We may refuse to process your order if your payment does not pass our validation procedures, or if we believe your order may be fraudulent, or if the Product is unavailable for any reason.

5. Product Availability

  • Stock availability on the Website is subject to change without notice.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if ordered Products become unavailable and may offer alternative delivery dates or refunds.

6. Pricing, Delivery Charges, and Payment

  • Product prices are listed on the Website and include GST.
  • Product prices, applicable delivery, and other charges are liable to change at any time without notice but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already received cleared payment.
  • We accept payments via VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
  • Credit and debit card payments are processed securely by a third party gateway.

7. Delivery

  • Deliveries are made to addresses within Australia serviced by Hisense's delivery agents.
  • We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and subject to change.
  • Someone must be present at the delivery address to accept and sign for the Products during normal business hours (9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday).
  • Delivery addresses cannot be changed after order placement.
  • Delivery typically does not include installation, packaging removal, or old appliance disposal unless you live in a postcode where our delivery agent provides such services.
  • For certain large appliances, additional unpacking, installation, and packaging removal services may be available subject to certain conditions, including:
    • The availability of pre-existing power and water connections, where applicable.
    • The dimensions of the delivery route and location being adequate for the appliance.
    • The safety and accessibility of the delivery location.

8. Risk and Title

  • Title to the Products passes to you upon the later of delivery or receipt of your payment.
  • Risk of loss or damage to the Products passes to you upon delivery.

9. Consumer Rights and Warranty Support

  • This Policy does not exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including Consumer Guarantees.
  • You are entitled to remedies under the ACL for faulty or damaged goods, including the right to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
  • Inspect Products upon delivery and report any issues to Hisense Customer Care.
  • Products sold on our Site are intended for domestic use only and are not for commercial use or resale.
  • A manufacturer's warranty may be provided in addition to ACL rights.
  • Hisense makes all reasonable efforts to maintain the content of the website, it does not, however, give any express warranties as to its accuracy, integrity, completeness, legality, applicability, currency and/or appropriateness of the content provided on this website.

10. Change of Mind

  • You may return Products within 14 days of purchase if you change your mind, subject to certain conditions.
  • Returned Products must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • For returns due to a change of mind, 15% of the original order total (including any delivery fees) will be retained as logistics and return handling fees, as well as to cover any other resulting losses. 

11. After Sale Process

  • If the product has a quality issue, please contact Hisense Customer Service. .
  • Provide proof of purchase and delivery documentation.
  • Return Products in their original packaging or suitable packaging.
  • Retain proof of pickup or dispatch.
  • We will arrange telephone guidance, on-site repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Hisense after-sales service process, to ensure that the product can be used properly .
  • You are responsible for reasonable care of Products in your possession.

12. Privacy

  • Hisense's Privacy Statement governs the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.

13. General

  • This Policy constitutes the entire agreement regarding your purchase of Products through the Website.
  • Hisense is not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • We reserve the right to refuse supply, terminate contracts, and remove or edit Website content.
  • You must not assign rights or obligations under this Policy without our consent.
  • Hisense may revise and amend this Policy by posting updates on the Website. Any changes will be effective from the date posted on this website.
