When is the World Cup 2018?

The FIFA World Cup takes place in Russia in June and July in 2018.
 
The World Cup only happens every four years and is the world’s largest sporting event. 64 matches will be played in 12 venues spread across 11 cities. 3.2 Billion people watched the 2014 tournament in South Africa and 1 Billion people watched the final.
 
The first match is on 14th June 2018 at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. The World Cup Final is on 15th July 2018 – also at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
The Quarter-Finals of the World Cup will be on the 6th July and 7th July 2018.
The Semi-Finals of the World Cup will be on 10th July and 11th July 2018.
The third-place play-off of the World Cup will be on the 14th July 2018.
 

When is the World Cup Draw?

The World Cup draw will take place on 1st December 2017 at the Kremlin in Moscow. It’s then that we’ll find out who the Socceroos (and everybody else) will be playing plus where and when. We’ll update this page when that information appears.
